Phek, December 17 (MExN): Phek district conducted free medical camp under ‘Op Sadbhavana’ at Wuzu village under Meluri block on December 16.
The aim of the camp was to provide medical assistance to such remote village who are devoid of such medical facilities, stated a press release.
Altogether 234 patients were examined and provided medical assistance and free medicines by a medical team consisting of Dr Limatoshi Imchen Epidemiologist Phek, Dr Shevosa Vese Surgeon DH Phek along with Medical Officers of Assam Rifles of Phek Battalion.
Basic knowledge on epidemic disease was also imparted during the camp.
Medical team visited the house of elderly people who couldn’t attend the camp.
