T. Yanger Ozukum’s painting was adjudged the best painting in the recently concluded Hornbill Painting and Sketching Competition 2011 organized by Hornbill Conservation Initiative (HCI)
Benjamin Murry, Co-partner, Eastern Enterprises graced the prize distribution function as chief guest at Naga Heritage village, Kisama.
Ngukavi Zhimomi won the 2nd Prize and Medozonuo Suohu bagged the 3rd Prize in the Painting category. Meanwhile, Nusazo Swuro won the prize for the best sketch.
All participants were required to display the beauty of the Hornbill bird through their artworks. The competition is a part of HCI's awareness campaign to save the endangered Hornbill. The prizes were sponsored by Eastern Enterprises (LG & Nokia distributors).
