Yemhi Memorial College IQAC conducts seminar

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Yemhi Memorial College, Dimapur conducted a one day seminar for college teachers on ‘ICT and Digitalization in Higher Education’ on May 19 at the College Conference Hall.  

The resource person was Rupanka Bhuyan, Assistant Professor and Academic Co-ordinator, Department of IT Mathematics and Management Studies ICFAI University Nagaland.  

During the first session a lecture on basic concepts, advantages and cases of digitalization using power point presentation was given by the resource person, Rupanka Bhuyan, a press release stated. The second session resumed with question hour followed by lecture on ICT (Information and Communication Technology) which emphasized on the benefits of ICT as an effective tool in classroom teaching as well as its disadvantages, added the release. Later, practical demonstration on how to prepare simple slide for power point presentation was shown to the students.  

The programme was chaired by Toyeto Chishi, Co-ordinator IQAC, Yemhi Memorial College, Dimapur. Principal of Yemhi Memorial College, Dimapur Makhan Chetia introduced the resource person and read out a brief profile of his vast contribution to the IT world.
