Kohima, April 27 (DIPR): Yoddha Fighting Championship (YoddhaFC) is a pan India Mixed Martial Arts tournament that has been hosting bouts for the past 3 years around India (Dimapur, Mumbai, Bangalore, Mokokchung, Bhubaneshwar, Delhi). Best amateur talents in India have been identified via this tournament in its 1st Season. Post these try outs (bouts of fighters competing for a spot in the finals), fighters in the Straw-weight, Bantamweight, Featherweight, Lightweight and Welterweight categories have entered the semi-finals. Season 1 will culminate in Kohima with the semi-finals and finals bouts scheduled from April 27-29 at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Kohima. It will also feature exhibition bouts, including women’s MMA. A number of promising Naga MMA fighters have qualified for the tournament.
