Imphal, January 27 (NNN): A youth was shot and injured in pre-poll violence last night in Mayang Imphal area of Imphal West. Ng Tomba was standing alone in front of his residential gate at Irong Palli bazaar when unknown armed persons shot him around 9:30 pm, a police source said on Friday. The assailants attacked him with a double barrel gun and fled the spot. A bullet hit his knee and was later rushed to a nearby hospital.
