A total of 17 villages under ZASA are taking part at the event and they will compete in the cultural events as well as football and volleyball competition from January 13-20.
A press note from the organiser said that Dr Chophy while applauding the area leaders for investing huge money to provide a platform for their young generation to polish and exhibit, also stressed on the need for cordial relationship.
Expressing satisfaction that ZASA is moving forward, he further advised the association to conduct the sports meet once in two years rather than conducting annually as it involves huge amount of money and resources, it said.
He also encouraged the players to play with team and game spirit while reminding them of their responsibility as a student to be more commited in their studies and contribute to the society, it added.
