ZDCSU resolves for door to door recovery of ICDP loan

Zunheboto, May 16 (MExN): Zunheboto District Co-operative Societies Union (ZDCSU) at a joint emergency meeting on May 14 with the ARCS office staff, Zunheboto resolved to move for door to door recovery of ICDP loan and appeal the beneficiaries to recover loan in order to avail more benefit.
The meeting held at the ARCS chamber, Zunheboto also resolved that all the ZDCSU members, BODs and Advisors would co-ordinate with ARCS and NStCB Zunheboto Branch in the loan recovery programme.


A press release issued by ZDCSU president Kiyeyi Aye stated that during the meeting, the union Advisor Nikheto Zhimo also informed the members about revision of Integrated Cooperative Development Project (ICDP) in the district.


Initiatives are being taken by Agricultural and Co-operation Minister, G Kaito Aye to promote the co-operative societies in the district where the scheme could not be implemented in a proper manner, it said.


He also conveyed a message extended by Registrar of Cooperative Societies (RCS) Kohima requesting the last ICDP beneficiaries to recover the loan so as to avail it again in the upcoming revision of scheme in the district.


Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies (ARCS), Zunheboto Orenthung Zami in the meeting requested the ZDCSU members to co-ordinate with the department in order to make the recovery of loans practically possible, the release added.


The members also resolved to appeal to the Managing Director, Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NStCB) Dimapur, through senior manager NStCB Zunheboto, to authorize drawal of Urban (Housing loan for all) money at the district Branch as well, especially for beneficiaries having account in the district branch. Earlier, ZDCSU President, Kiyeyi Aye presided over the meeting.
