And it is the time when people of entire Nagas in which Zeliangrong is one of it as among the biggest communities are praying and yearning for peace and reconciliation between the existing three Naga Political groups. It is the time when all Nagas, young and old have realized that fraternal fighting with arms cannot bring real and true peaceful existence in the society.
At this very juncture it is very unfortunate that a section of some armed persons formed a group on 25th February 2011 called Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) as per their press statement served in local dailies of Manipur and Nagaland.
In this regard the office of the Zeliangrong Region NSCN/GPRN denounces the so called ZUF. The said Front is not a mandate organization of the Zeliangrong People. Rather, the Front might have been organized due some vested issues. No frontal organizations of Zeliangrong; neither Students Union nor Youth Front nor Baudi nor Union nor Women organizations nor any Zeliangrong Social leaders have awareness of their newly formed organizations. It is very inopportune unreasonably using the name of Zeliangrong for some vested issue.
Therefore, the Zeliangrong Region, NSCN/GPRN denounce the so called Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) who are organizing with arms to bring back the bloodshed culture in the land in the pretext for protecting the tradition and land boundaries without any mandate. The Zeliangrong Region in particular and the people of Zeliangrong in general will strive to drive out such type of organizations who are against the interest of the people even in the futures to come.
