Zunehboto, January 28 (MExN): The Zunheboto Range Students’ Union (ZRSU) celebrated its golden jubilee from January 23 to 25 at Asukhomi village under the theme ‘Era of Enlightenment’.
The union during the programme resolved that it shall be the “guardian” of all public properties under Zunheboto range and any damage caused will be strictly investigated and the offenders will be penalized.
It further decided that any entrepreneur from Zunheboto range willing to establish hair cutting parlour (men’s) and cobbler shop will be assisted with Rs. 25000/- each by ZRSU, according to a press release from ZRSU. In the jubilee celebration, S Hukavi Zhimomi, Advisor, Jails, Science & Technology, Home Guard, Civil Defence and Chairman of NKVIB was the chief guest, while Dr. Hokheto Kiba, Joint Director (Vety. & AH) and Huskha Yeptho, Working President of NPF Nagaland were the guests of honour.
The main speakers were Rev. Vikuto P. Shohe, pastor, Aghunato Village Baptist Church, KT Sukhalu (IAS Retd.), and Aheto Zhimo Lizu Aviqato.
ZRSU also elected a new team of Executives with Kabo Kiba as the president and Vispeen I Yepthomi as the general secretary. The union has sought the blessing of all organizations under Zunheboto range and the well-wishers of ZRSU for the smooth functioning of the office.
