DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 17 (MExN): While appreciating the Railway department for not delaying the compensation to the landowners of the New Railway BG Line from Dhansiripar (Dimapur) to Zubza, the Zubza Railway Link Welfare Committee, Sechü- Zubza, Kohima district said the landowners are still confused as to how much land the concerned department has acquired, especially the space covering the breadth.
The Committee in an appeal has therefore requested the concerned department to give a demarcation point/line at both ends of the breadth for the entire stretch of railway line from Dhansiripar to Zubza.
This in necessitated because some of the landowners, after knowing the breadth, would like to carry out their own personal activities in their land which is not been acquired by the department, it pointed out.
