Dimapur, June 12 (MExN): Nagaland registered the highest single-day spike of 26 COVID-19 cases till 8.25am of June 12, taking the total number of infections in the state to 156.
However, with 30 recoveries as of Friday morning, there are 126 active cases.
According to updates by Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Minister, S Pangnyu Phom, 23 out of 26 new cases were from Dimapur quarantine centres, while there were two cases from Kohima. Peren also reported another case.
The samples were tested in Dibrugarh and Kohima, the Minister added.
