14 new cases take Nagaland COVID-19 tally to 94

DIMAPUR, JUNE (MExN): Nagaland recorded 14 fresh COVID-19 cases on June 5 taking the State's total to 94. 


“14 new positive cases of COVID-19 has been reported in the last 24 hours out of 235 samples tested. All the samples tested were from Chennai Returnees,” Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Minister, S Pangnyu Phom tweeted Friday morning. 


As per the update on Nagaland COVID-19 Dashboard, out of 94 patients, 90 are in 18-44 age group while the rest are 17 years or below.

 

Nearly two-third of the positive cases are males. According to the Dashboard, as of June 5, 62 males have tested positive for the virus while there were 32 females.
