Dimapur, April 8 (MExN): The Assam Seniors Badminton Club is organizing the 1st Senior (Veteran) North East Zone Prize Money Badminton Championship- 2011 on April 23 and 24, 2011 at Kanaklata Indoor Stadium, Guwahati.
A press note issued by K. Kire, president Nagaland Badminton Association, Kohima informed that the last date to receive entries is April 19, 2011. Total prize money for the tournament is Rs. 1. 20 lakhs. Participants are required to produce Passport, Pan Card, and Government Identity Card as proof of age. Interested players are requested to submit their names to Limawati Ao, Honorary secretary, NDA, and contact at 9436005758 or 03862/2229445 (R) by April 15, 2011.
The note also informed that the tournament will be conducted in the following categories: For Men Doubles- 35 years and above, born on or before December 31, 1975, for Men Doubles- 40 years and above, born on or before December 31, 1970, For Men Doubles- 45 years of age and above, born on or before December 31, 1965, For Men Doubles-50 years of age and above, born on or before December 31, 1960, For Men Doubles-55 years of age and above, born on or before December 31, 1955.
