Lenlem FC, Yamnhon AFC move to semis
DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 5 (MExN): Lenlem FC executed a comprehensive victory over Morung Boyz in the third quarter-finals of the 24th late Nyamo Lotha and Late Daniel Lotha Memorial Football Running Trophy at the State Stadium, Dimapur on November 5.
Lenlem pumped in 6 goals while a helpless Morung could manage only 1. Zurenthung was the star of the match scoring 4 with Sulanthung and Mhachan socring 1 each. Jerry Ezung was the scorer for Morung.
The fourth quarter-finals between Yamnhon AFC and Changpang was also a lopsided encounter with Yamnhon prevailing 6-1. In this game, Nyanthung took the goal-scoring effort a notch higher raining in 5 of the goals. Chenithung was the other player, who scored 1. Changpang’s sole goal was scored by Nichan Kinghen.
