Our Correspondent Kohima | November 13 3E Nagaland today informed that registration for the 8th Hornbill Half Marathon will commence at 3E office near Kohima Local Ground (North Gate) and continue till November 30. The event will take place on December 2 at 7:00 AM. The start and finish point will be New Secretariat junction Kohima. The half marathon will cover the international standard distance of 21.0975 km for both men and women categories. Cash prizes for the two categories will be as follows - First - Rs. 50,000, Second - Rs. 20,000, Third - Rs. 10,000 and Fourth - Rs. 5000. Top 10 runners in both categories will be given timing-cum-merit certificates while runners who successfully finish the distance will receive completion certificates. The event is being organised by 3E Nagaland and will be officiated and certified by the Nagaland Athletics Officials Club. It is supported by Tourism Department Government of Nagaland with Colours Graphic Kohima as baggage tags and number bibs sponsor.
