Pangti, September 18 (MExN): The Amur Falcon Roosting Area Union (AFRAU) Pangti has resolved to restrict all kind of visitors for the month of October to create a 'disturbance-free' atmosphere and peace for Amur Falcons.

The decision was taken at the AFRAU’s general meeting on September 18, which among others, deliberated on the observed pattern of Amur Falcons avoiding their ‘actual Roosting place in Pangti Village during the last migration season.’

As per the union’s studies, the reason behind this might be because of human habitation and disturbance during their first phase of arrival, stated a press release from P Thungchumo Shidio, President, AFRAU Pangti Village.

In this connection, to give peace to the Falcons, the AFRAU resolved not to allowed visitors to pass Raphapen Junction from October 1-31, it said.

The AFRAU also appealed all the visitors and tourists to bear with the restriction.
