Dimapur, April 10 (MExN): The All Nagaland Adhoc Teachers Union, Phek unit has appealed the government to expedite the results declaration of the suitability test the adhoc teachers had appeared for regularization, in October 2010.
A press note issued by the representatives of the union, Zazhota Dawhuo and Pulesayi Lohe stated: “…at the call of the Directorate on completion of 3 years and above in continuous service, we underwent the suitability test along with the Ministerial staff. To our utter surprise, the Ministerial staff result has been declared and their services has been regularised in November 2010 whereas even after a lapse of 5 months our result is yet to be declared.”
The representatives in the note also lamented that the adhoc teachers are facing tremendous difficulties as they are "underpaid” for they “are not covered under 6th ROP”.
