DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 7 (MExN): The Dimapur District Autorickshaw Drivers’ Union (DDADU) today informed that it would observe a total bandh on autos from September 11. This decision was taken today during a meeting which was attended by all branch office, i.e. Purana Bazaar, 4th Mile, 6th Mile, Chumukedima, Medziphema, Kuhuboto and Niuland. A press note from the DDADU viewed that no proposal from the union’s side was taken into consideration by the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) while fixing the rate which was published earlier. “While essential commodities, fuel and spare parts are have sky rocketed, it is not checked by the concerned authority,” the DDADU lamented.
