This is in response to the press write up of Yanpvuo, Ex-Chairman of Chudi Village and Yilobemo, alias Nchubomo, Ex-VDB Secretary of the village. Without going into details, I would like to say that being a leader and a born freedom fighter I have to swallow all bitter pills to the extend possible. I hereby give a week’s time to Yanpvuo and Yilobemo to apologize and withdraw their statement. Failing which I will be reluctantly compelled to give clarifications as demanded by them through appropriate channels, which I hope will reveal all the secrets and mysteries hitherto unknown. By doing so people will know who are their so-called underground and overground collaborators and accomplices in their nefarious activities which other have been tolerating all along.
In this connection, I want to impress upon them that Chudi Village in Wokha district, though a small village is comparatively an intellectual village. The Village may be atleast in the 2nd position if not 1st in Nagaland in terms of educated people and gazzetted officers in proportion to the population and households. Therefore, some persons cannot spoil or damage the image and honour of the village and its leaders.
It is my place of advice to Yanpvuo and Yilobemo that they better respect the sentiments and verdict of the majority of the villagers and the Council members. The village is a strong unit of Naga society and ruled by customs and traditions, although there may be some enacted rules and acts of the govt., otherwise they may land into notty problems with undesirable consequences.
