Chümoukedima emerging one of the fastest developing towns in Nagaland

From a ‘sleepy’ town, mostly known as a location for training Nagaland Police personnel, Chümoukedima in recent years has been development at a rapid pace, perceptible to both casual travelers as well as populace of the town and adjoin areas.

This was further affirmed by both the administrator of the Chümoukedima as well as others during the launching of the town’s latest attraction – a multi-storeyed and multi-brand store in the form of Jack’n Jill shopping mall on December 16.                 
The town is fast developing into one of the fastest developing town not only in Dimapur district but the entire State, asserted the Extra Assistant Commissioner of Chümoukedima Seyiekhrietuo Solo during the launch. 

It has potential to transform into a very good quality city – a metropolis, he added, noting that the progress of the town is often highlighted at various platforms.

Speaking as the Administrator of the Chümoukedima Town Council, Solo also noted that the convenient and business environment offered by the town is unparallel.    

Anyone can come and open businesses here and prosper, and for those I congratulate not only the business owners, but the entire Chümoukedima citizens, he added. 

The EAC also assured cooperation from the administration, council as well as the citizens. 

Also speaking on the occasion,  Thepfühoutuo Shüya, a social worker and a town citizen, as described also Chümoukedima a ‘lightning city,’ to drove home the point its rapid development; a dream of its ‘forefathers’ in 1970s. 

Moreover, he mentioned the ‘authoritative committees’ in Chümoukedima including village council, youth organisation and various other social organisations have given their assurances to provide safe and secure as well as best conducive environment for businesses.

Accordingly, the businesses are most welcome and prosper in the town and they need not worry, Thepfühoutuo assured. 

Neikholie Shüya reiterated such assertion. He further lauded the Shüya Khel for the current venture.
