DIMAPUR, JUNE 2 (MExN): Christian Higher Secondary School (CHSS), Dimapur, in partnership with instudia, conducted a three-day seminar on Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration on May 25, June 1 and June 2, focusing on the application of AI in Commerce and Arts education.
According to a press release, the seminar aimed to help students and educators understand practical, stream-specific uses of AI and its potential to enhance learning, research and vocational preparedness.
Director of instudia, Daniel Changkija, inaugurated the programme and highlighted the growing importance of digital and technological literacy across disciplines. He stated that AI is transforming professional sectors and stressed the need for students from both humanities and business backgrounds to develop digital competencies.
The technical and practical sessions were led by resource person Vishal Bardewa. For Commerce students, the sessions covered the use of AI tools in data analysis, market trend forecasting, basic accounting processes and predictive financial modelling. For Arts students, the focus was on AI-assisted literature research, historical archiving, language learning and creative writing.
Throughout the seminar, Bardewa stressed that AI should be viewed as a tool to support and enhance human creativity, analytical thinking and research, rather than replace them.
