
Kohima, June 4 (MExN): Several personalities and organizations mourned the demise of late Er Kevisekho Kruse, Retired Chief Engineer PHED Nagaland who passed away on June 4. Late Kruse contested the elections from 8th Western Angami Assembly Constituency in 2018 as NDPP candidate.
Minister Neiba: Minister planning & coordination, land revenue and parliamentary affairs minister Neiba Kronu described late Kruse as “humble and dedicated government servant” who served the government in various aptitudes with utmost sincerity. “Today we have lost a loyal, honest and dynamic leader who was an inspiration to his colleagues and the society,” Kronu stated in a condolence message.
Phizo Memorial Park Trust: Phizo Memorial Park Trust, Khonoma stated that late Kruse was a mentor, friend and brother even as a leader and was readily available to every role and responsibility needed of him on any occasion. “Today, Khonoma has lost one of her best in the demise of our dear colleague and brother,” the Trust stated.
NBCC Kohima Environment and Sanitation Committee: Kohima Environment and Sanitation Committee, NBCC stated “we had the privilege of working with him, ever since his journey as Joint Secretary of the committee, till his death. He was a visionary, God fearing, selfless and exemplary leader, who lived his life for a greater purpose, with the best interests of the society, community and state in his heart and mind, wherever he was placed. His noble deeds will remain as a testimony, of a life well lived, though he passed on,” it stated.
8th Western Urban Panchayat Union: The 8th Western Urban Panchayat Union, Kohima described Er Kruse as a committed leader in political circle as well as in social circle, always has the tendency to help people when approached. “Our Union is indebted to him, for always supporting our cause and for his cooperation,” stated the Union.
NMA: The Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA) stated that Er Kruse was a capable and God fearing officer who has served the Government of Nagaland and the Nagas in various capacity. He has left behind a deep vacuum that will be difficult to fill. Words are indeed inadequate to express our sorrow at this disconsolate moment, NMA added.
KVC: Khonoma Village Council (KVC) described Er Kruse as a “man of word and action, always exuding confidence and moral courage.” He had great concern for the community and always envisioned a better Nagaland, the council added. In his death, the KVC stated “we have lost a dynamic leader who loved his community dearly, and a vacuum has been created.
MLA Nakhro: “He was a visionary leader full of impeccable knowledge, hopes, positive energy and keenly loved across by many for his lively nature and simplicity,” stated MLA Keneizhakho Nakhro. “Losing a true statesmanship & dynamic leader is a great loss or our society & specially our Western Angami people in particular,” he added.
AWO: Angami Women Organization (AWO) terming Er Kruse as a man of Principle and Integrity and an efficient bureaucrat and politician, said he served the Government in various capacities with humility, honesty, dedication, commitment and honesty till his retirement. AWO conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and pray that his soul rest in eternal peace.
AGOK: Angami Gazetted Officers Krotho (AGOK) expressed sadness on the demise of Er Kruse. It stated him as a distinguished and prominent figure who, during his service in the State Government, had also served the Krotho as General Secretary from 1994 to 1996 with dedication and sincerity. “He was a straightforward and God fearing person. His demise is a great loss not only to his immediate community but to the society as a whole and the vacuum created will be difficult to fill,” it stated.
WAYO: Western Angami Youth Organisation (WAYO) in its condolence message said that Er Kruse served in various capacities and immensely contributed for the well-being of the people and society. The void created in his absence will be deeply felt in the days to come, it stated.
NDPP 8th Western Angami: NDPP 8th Western Angami Assembly Constituency said that Er Kruse was a man of integrity who put the well-being and interest of the people before himself. A man who can be easily relate to by both young and old. “The vacuum he left behind is felt more, for he still has so much to give and contribute to our people,” it stated.
