Acknowledging these are difficult times filled with fear, uncertainty and restlessness, Rev Dr Zelhou Keyho, General Secretary of the Nagaland Baptist Church of Council (NBCC) affirmed the need to “hold on to our faith and believe that God will protect us and preserve us from the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Rev Keyho this in this brief a video message to the people on April 2, 2020 encouraged believers to respect, obey and adhere to the directives given by the state government and the Church.
He further urged them to be responsible to themselves, their families and to help each other and do what you can to people in need. Reach out in love and in compassion during this trying time.”
Rev Keyho also reminded the people that “we have a responsibility to God and we must allow our faith to flourish in our life and not allow people to put down the God we believe.” He called upon believers to “protect our faith from falsehood so that we will not be swayed away and make a fool of our faith.”
The video message was released to The Morung Express who had earlier made this request to Rev Keyho.
