Dimapur, May 17 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan (IAS) launched the online registration of birth and death at DC’s Conference Hall on May 17.
According to a DIPR report, in his short speech, the DC Dimapur acknowledged the achievements of the economic and statistics department and called for generating public awareness about the online registration programme and specifically in maintaining singular name during registration.
Pointing out that online registration would bring uniformity in the system and also be convenient to the citizens, he urged the hospital authorities/CMO to coordinate with the DESO Dimapur for proper and authenticate registration.
Meanwhile, Chairperson R Akang Joint Director and DESO Dimapur informed that people can register online within 21 days for both birth and death information. Public visit crsorgi.gov.in and click to civil registration system CRS portal and click general public sign up to generate user ID for logging into the system.
