Do you agree that a sense of community solidarity has grown during the COVID-19 pandemic? Give reasons

Some of those who voted YES had this to say:
•    Yes, there is plenty of evidence all over Nagaland to show that a sense of community spirit and solidarity has grown during the COVID pandemic. In fact, without the community participation the situation would have been far worse.

•    Yes. the community kitchen, the community service by groups of people are good examples of how Nagas have come together during the pandemic. I agree fully that community solidarity has grown during the pandemic, here in our state as well as in the world.

•    As far as Nagas are concerned, community solidarity is the reason why we are surviving all this while.

•    Indeed the pandemic is paving way to unity and is helping the community to express love for each other than ever.

Some of those who voted NO had this to say:
•    No. Instead we see more selfish people. Some real true colours of people have also come out now.

•    Not really if you put your thoughts together and together makes it better.

Some of those who voted OTHERS had this to say:
•    Some goodwill groups emerge but definitely not enough and we are capable of so much more than this.

•    Yes and also no, very complicated

•    Those who have been socially sensitive pre-COVID have been continued to serve the community during COVID times. Those who preferred to live isolated and selfish lives have become more isolated and selfish. COVID didn't change people, it only showed the real faces of community members.
