DoPN Advisor calls for utilisation of govt schemes

Dimapur, July 3 (MExN): Advisor to Department  of Power(DoPN)  Nagaland, H Tovihoto Ayemi inaugurated the newly renovated colony road at Fellowship/Supply Colony, Dimapur on July 2 and called on the public to utilise schemes made available by the government.

The renovation work funded and work executed by Dimapur Municipal Council was a long felt need of the residents of two colonies, and residents led by colony leaders and elders expressed gratitude to the Advisor and the DMC for initiating the work, according to a press release.

Speaking on the occasion as special guest, Tovihoto spoke about the sincere commitment of the state government for all round development of the state and the significant developmental progress that the state has made in the last four years.

He said Nagaland government is judiciously utilising all the schemes and funds provided by the central government for developmental activities in Nagaland, as per the release.

He also outlined the number of different schemes of the BJP led central government which, he said, are directly reaching the people at the grassroot level in the state. He called upon the leaders of the two colonies to guide public in their respective colony to avail the schemes made available by the government for the benefit of the people.

Stating that where there is peace and harmony there is progress and prosperity, he called on the people to live together as one and take the society forward. 

In his remark, the administrator of the Dimapur Municipal Council Albert Ezung who chaired the inaugural function urged the colony residents to take care of and sustain the facilities and development provided for the welfare of the people and also to give importance to civic sense of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the colony.
