Kohima, June 16 (MExN): Entrepreneurs Associates held its commencement Day on June 16 for the trainees of the Basic Entrepreneurial Skills Training (BEST) programme Wave 5 at its Training and Research Centre, EA office, Kohima. The training was conducted from April 25 to June 16. The commencement programme was attended not only by the trainees and staff of EA but also by the family members and well wishers of the trainees who came as invitees.
Neingulie Nakhro, Managing Director Unitex was invited as a special guest during the programme. While exhorting the trainees, he urged them to continue to strive and work hard, to have a humble Beginning and to always keep their dreams visible. Certificates with the cash incentives earned during the training was handed over to all the participants by Neingulie Nakhro. It was announced that Veo Thuluo was the highest earner of the batch.
Neichiite Doulo, CEO Entrepreneurs Associates, through his speech encouraged the trainees to have patience and perseverance and to never give up. He said that 'success' will only come through hard work and determination. The CEO concluded wishing all the trainees for their future endeavors and said that EA will continue to support them and guide them.
Susan James, Lead Trainer, Entrepreneurs Associates stressing on the importance of having a strong foundation in life to become a successful person, told the trainees to continue to strive for their goals and dreams.
The programme also saw Thejazevi Riirhia, Coordinator BEST, giving a summary of the training. A special song was presented by the trainees. During the programme, the trainees expressed their gratitude to EA and shared their most valued experiences and learning through the training. The programme which started with an invocation prayer from Neiketonuo concluded with a vote of thanks from Yutho Sangtam.
BEST is a programme, which facilitates learning basics of start-up entrepreneurial ventures for youth and is held year round. It is an EA initiative and supported by the Tata Trust, Mumbai.
