The holy land tour team organised by the Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo (DABA) visited the place which are of great significance as recorded in the Bible.
On November 4 they visited Church of the Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount as recorded in the gospel of Mathew in the Bible, at Tabgha, Israel at the bank of Sea of Galilee. They visited the place where Jesus fed more than five thousand people with five loaves and two fish and had a brief halt at the St. Peter’s house, where the Church of Primacy was established.
The tour group from Nagaland also experienced the emersion in Jordan River, the baptismal site of where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. They also had a memorable boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus calmed down the storm, walked on the water and met His disciples.
The team will leave for Jordan on November 5 and visit Mt. Nebo, the holy place where Moses physical body was disappeared.
The 42 member team includes the senior pastor of DABA Rev. N. Tzudir, Associate pastor of DABA Rev. Kika Jamir, Lima Jamir, Wati Kichu, Pastor of Ao Kashiram, Dr. Temjen Ozukum, Pastor of Ao Baptist Church, Padumpukhri, Rev. Alem, DABA Counselor Dr. Moa, Ex Pastor, Rev. S. Apong , Rev. C. Tiyong Kichu, Er. Obang Longchari and Panger Jamir IFS.
