KOHIMA, JUNE 12 (MExN): The Department of Health and Family Welfare is carrying out an online survey to assess the mental health status of people in Nagaland during COVID-19 pandemic. Any person in Nagaland over the age of 16 years can participate in the survey. 


Frontline workers are strongly encouraged to participate in the study, informed a report from the DIPR. 


The survey takes about 5 minutes to complete. The prevalence of insomnia, anxiety, depression, somatisation (anxiety causing physical problem), and phobia (COVID-19 related) will be assessed. This survey will also help the department to strategize future intervention measures.

The link will also be shared in various social media platforms. The survey closes on June 30.
