ICRAINS 2024: Advancing robotics, automation, and intelligent systems

Coimbatore, April 19 (MExN): ICRAINS 2024, the Second International Conference on Robotics, Automation, and Intelligent Systems, organised by the Division of Robotics Engineering at Karunya Deemed University, marked a significant turning point in the field of Robotics and Automation.

The event gathered leading academic scientists and research scholars from around the globe to exchange experiences and share insights on addressing challenges in Robotics, Automation, and Intelligent Systems.

The conference received an overwhelming response with participation from around 200 authors representing 10 different countries. Approximately 70 papers were presented across various tracks, illuminating diverse perspectives and groundbreaking research. ICRAINS 2024 highlighted pivotal topics such as Automation, Robotics, 3D Printing, Smart Manufacturing, Mechatronics, and Intelligent Systems.

The event was honoured by the presence of distinguished Chief Guests, Prof Avital Bechar, a Scientist from The Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Research Organization, Volcani Center, Israel, and Dr Joseph Winston, PhD, Head of Remote Handling and Irradiation Experiments Division at Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu. They delivered insightful keynotes on “Integration of Robots and AI for Smart Agriculture” and “Advanced Remote Inspection System Developments for Nuclear Domain” respectively.

The conference served as a platform for connecting minds, encouraging authors to explore challenges and solutions in the vast realm of Robotics and Automation. It provided delegates with invaluable opportunities and knowledge.
