Imnatiba meets Union minister Smriti Irani

Dimapur, April 13 (MExN): Advisor for Industries & Commerce, Government of Nagaland, Imnatiba called on Union Minister of Textiles and Information & Broadcasting, Smriti Zubin Irani at the national capital on April 12.  

He briefed her of the problems caused by making Aadhaar mandatory for all the beneficiaries as the coverage of Aadhaar in Nagaland is not yet 100%, informed a press release from Limanuksung Longkumer, Secretary IPR, NPP Nagaland State.  

Imnatiba further enlightened the Union minister of the irregular mode of fund release, and that the fund for ministerial schemes already in the pipeline have been held up due to which a lot of investment and channelizing is at stake.  

The Union minister was also requested to look into the handloom & handicraft sector for the State of Nagaland as it has always been a very important lifeline to the State and its artisans in particular.  

According to the release, Irani responded very well to the prayers and suggestions laid forward by the Advisor and committed to look into the matters at the earliest possible.  

Imnatiba was accompanied by general secretary NPP Nagaland, Sasank Ghatraj and IPR secretary NPP, Limanuksung Longkumer along with the Industries & Commerce department officials.
