Dimapur, March 26 (MExN): The All Nagaland Fair Price Shop Association (ANFPSA) appealed to the National Food Security Act (NFSA) beneficiaries to pay attention and strictly follow the order and guideline issued by the department of Food & Civil Supplies in procuring food grains through the Fair price shops all over Nagaland.
The Association called upon all the FPS dealers to co-ordinate with their respective district ADS office for functioning smoothly.
It also request the Village/Colony Chairmen, GBs, youth and student bodies in helping the FPS dealer to maintain discipline in their area for distribution of food grains to the beneficiaries.
The Association also informed that, to combat COVID-19 by way of maintaining social distance, FPS has been issuing food grains to 20-30 persons per day in line with the department directives by providing hand sanitizer, hand wash etc at the FPS.
It requested the beneficiaries to strictly adhere to the guidelines issued by the government while collecting/procuring food grains from the FPS to contain the spread of the disease.
Further, it requested the district administration, law enforcing agencies and security forces manning the town/colony to support those on FPS duty, trucks transporting goods along with labour for loading & unloading etc.
