Mokokchung DC notifies timings for essential services

MOKOKCHUNG, MARCH 25 (MExN): The Mokokchung Deputy Commissioner has notified strict timings for operation of several essential services in the district.
An order passed by the Mokokchung DC on March 25 directed all shops selling essential commodities to keep their shops open from 10:00am to 2:00pm. The shops will remain closed for the rest of the time.
Meanwhile, business transaction hours of all banks will be from 9:00am to 1:00pm on all working days.
The DC further directed people to stay home and not move out except for purchase of essential commodities and medical exigencies. Further, only one person from a family will be permitted to go out for purchase of essential commodities within the given time.
All vehicular movement of non-essential measure is prohibited and no private vehicular movement will be allowed except for purchase of essential commodities and medical emergencies, the order added. No private vehicle will be allowed to carry passengers.
People violating the order will be punished under Section 188 of the IPC, the order cautioned.

Oil: 1 litre per family
Milk powder: 1kg per family
Tea leaves: 1kg per family
