Kohima, December 4 (MExN): The Innovation & Incubation Space, Kohima HuB was inaugurated at the Capital Convention Center by Mission Director AIM (NITI AaYOG), Dr Chintan Vaishnav on December 4. He emphasised Nagaland's entrepreneurial spirit and expressed optimism that with the right guidance, the newly launched space would serve as a catalyst for startups in the region, stated a DIPR report. 

During the inaugural programme, Hekani Jakhalu, Advisor Industries & Commerce, highlighted the collaborative efforts of StartUp Nagaland, the Department of Industries & Commerce, and the Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN). She underscored the significance of this initiative in fostering a vibrant ecosystem for innovation and economic growth in Nagaland. She commended AIM for its role in inspiring a culture of innovation nationwide.

Hekani urged stakeholders to collectively work towards making Nagaland a destination for progressive startups, where ideas flourish, and business thrive, and innovation propels towards a brighter future. She acknowledged the state government's active efforts, including initiatives like StartUp Nagaland, in creating a conducive environment for startups.

The welcome note was delivered by Reny Wilfred, Joint Secretary IDAN, and the concluding remarks were given by K Theünuo, Deputy Director Industries & Commerce and team leader of StartUp Nagaland.
