Karbi Anglong Nepali Students’ Union Bor Lengri Block-II Branch held its executive body reshuffling meeting at Bor-Lengri Block 2, Mandir Complex on January 28.
Karbi Anglong, February 2 (MExN): The Karbi Anglong Nepali Students’ Union (KANSU) Bor Lengri Block-II Branch held its executive body reshuffling meeting at Bor-Lengri Block 2, Mandir Complex on January 28 last. After the discussion, the house resolved to select Vishant Poudel as President and Rahul Bista as General Secretary of KANSU Bor Lengri Block-II Branch.
The oath taking ceremony was administered by Prasad Rai, President KANSU Bokajan District Committee in presence of dignitaries followed by felicitation programme. In his address, Prasad Rai urged the young students’ leader to abide and follow the right path with sincerity to accomplish the goal.
Others who spoke during the meeting included Basanta Chetri, General Secretary, (KANSU) Central Committee; LN Subba former Deputy Chairman (KAAC); and Jai Kumar Rai, General Secretary Nepali Literary and Cultural Forum, (NLCF) Central Committee.
The others present were Hirasingh Chetri, Vice President, Nepali Suraksha Parishad Karbi Anglong Committee and members from KANSU Bokajan District Committee.
The meeting also resolved to conduct its first new executive meet by the mid February 2024.
