KDVA observes 21st foundation day

The Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA) on Saturday observed its 21st Foundation Day 2026 at Sithie Park, Tsiesema Basa.

Addressing the gathering, Visasilie Suhu, president Nagaland Volleyball Association (NVA) and advisor KDVA, stressed on the importance of volleyball, its perks and elements.

He urged upon the KDVA members and trained referees to sincerely serve its duties when called for.

He also encouraged the members to contribute abundantly towards the upcoming tournaments.

In his presidential address, KDVA president Mhalelhou Mere sought the support of each and every individuals towards the upcoming  G Rio Memorial Volleyball Trophy (13th Kohima Open Volleyball Tournament), slated in the last week of October 2026 at Khuochiezie (Kohima Local Ground).

Earlier, the programme was chaired by KDVA technical secretary Vilesii Mekro while vote of thanks was proposed by KDVA vice president (Sport) Neivikhotuo Vielie.
