New Market FC beat Khriekesa FC 3-0

New Market FC today beat Khriekesa FC three goals to nil in the ongoing 2nd Kohima Football League here under the aegis of Kohima Town Club.
The first goal for New Market FC came from the boots of Achamo Shitio through a spot kick conversion awarded in the 10th minute, when the referee showed a yellow card to Seyiekhrietuo Suohu of Khriekesa FC for tripping Salu Kulim in the penalty box.
New Market FC found the second and third goals through Menguzelie Rutsa in 44th minute and Rhitso Mero in the 78th minute respectively to seal the victory.
Earlier, on Monday, the match between United 16 FC and Vanguard FC Tseminyu ended in a 1-1 draw.
United 16 FC scored the opening goal of the match through Doveikho in the 10th minute. However, captain Yhumshelo Kemp of Vanguard FC found the equalizer in the 42nd minute to make it 1-1 at the end of the second half.
