Kohima, January 5 (MExN): Kuluveto Venuh emerged with the “A Team Category” championship title at the 43rd Phekmi Wrestling Association (PWA) Meet 2018 held at Phek Village Local Ground on January 4 last.
Venuh beat Vekutho Soho in the final to claim the winner’s prize of Rs. 25,000. Soho was awarded Rs. 15000. Chotha Soho and Shemutu Keyho stood 3rd and 4th position and were awarded Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 5,000 respectively.
In the “B Team Category,” Kuluvezo Soho claimed the champion’s title and cash prize of Rs. 10,000.
Mhasheo Venuh, Chizoto Vero and Vekuhu Rhakho stood 2nd, 3rd and 4th position and were awarded Rs. 7000, Rs. 5000 and Rs. 3000 respectively.
The selected wrestlers of PWA for the forthcoming PAWA meet includes, Shurhoneyi Soho, Kuluveto Venuh, Vekutho Soho, Chotha Soho, Shemutu Keyho, Putuzo Keyho, Shediekho Hoshi and Shelutso Soho.
