Kumlong Sub-Centre building extension was inaugurated by Metsubo Jamir, Minister, Rural Development, Government of Nagaland at Kumlong ward, Mokokchung on August 3. The dedicatory prayer was pronounced by Dr R Zulu Jamir, Associate Pastor, Kumlong Baptist Church.
In a brief inaugural programme, S Lanu Imchen, Chairman, Kumlong Ward, thanked the minister for his contribution towards the building extension and for the welfare of the people of Kumlong ward.
A brief report on the building was given by Meyalepden, Secretary, Urban Health Committee, Kumlong ward.
At the inaugural programme, Metsubo Jamir said that there are more projects and works that the community can do with the help of the government and that the community needs to thank God for the blessings and continue to be diligent and sincere in all their efforts and works.
Dr Limatula also spoke on behalf of the Health and Family Welfare & Chief Medical Office and Supongtoshi, Executive member, Kumlong Ward Yimden spoke on behalf of the ward.
