WOKHA, MARCH 9 (MExN): The Kyong Hoho, along with Kyong Eloe Hoho, Kyong Students’ Union, Wokha district GB’s Union, Wokha district DB’s association and Lotha Hoho Doyang, have resolved to uphold the “ardor and interest of the Kyong Lotha tribe in particular and the Naga aspirations in general.” This was resolved at a “get together cum picnic” at the Doyang Hydro Electric Project, Wokha on March 8. Kyong Hoho Chairman, Yansathung Jami said that the apex Hoho would not interfere in activities of the KSU & KEH, but work for the larger degree of the community. He urged all to uphold and defend Lotha integrity, strength, unity and “approval to prevail in Lotha Naga soil.” Pinyimthung Lotha, Advisor to the KH challenged the gathering to “exit hatred and selfish mindedness.” He urged all to honour, respect and preserve past and present tribal Lotha leaders. Nzano Kikon, General Secretary of the KEH and Amos Odyuo, President of the KSU assured that they would join hands in working for the welfare of the Lotha community.
