Manipur Chief Minister, N Biren Singh meeting Union Home minister, Rajnath Singh on Thursday in New Delhi.
  Newmai News Network IMPHAL | JANUARY   Manipur Chief Minister, N Biren Singh and Rajya Sabha MP and BJP Manipur Pradesh President, K Bhabananda met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh at New Delhi on Thursday and discussed about sanctioning of additional IRB Battalions for Manipur, helicopter scheme, vacating Old Koirengei Airfield currently occupied by Territorial Army and introduction of a new Surrenderees' Rehabilitation Policy.  Biren and Bhabananda requested Rajnath Singh to direct the UP Government to handover the case of Pravish Chanam's death to CBI at the earliest. They also officially invited the Home Minister to the 1st Anniversary celebration of BJP-led State Government scheduled to be held on March 15, 2018,an official statement said.   It stated that the Chief Minister also met BJP National President Amit Shah and discussed about the various ongoing developmental projects in the State.  They also discussed about the Imphal-Delhi direct flight services to be offered by the Air Asia and providing parking space for the aircrafts in Delhi Airport. The Chief Minister also requested Amit Shah to pursue Central Government to support the State Government for providing potable water supply to every household of the State. He also invited Amit Shah to the 1st Anniversary celebration of BJP-led State Government in Manipur, the statement added.   Earlier, N Biren Singh also met the BJP National Secretary and North East in-charge  Ram Madhav and discussed about various issues and developmental works being taken up in Manipur. The Chief Minister requested Ram Madhav to visit the State for the 1st Anniversary celebration of BJP-led State Government.
