Kohima, August 9 (MExN): Modern College Kohima held its Cultural and Literary Fest with the theme “Reflections” at the college Smart Class on August 4. Renowned poet, Nini Lungalang graced as the literary guest at the occasion, where variety of activities such as poetry writing, flower arrangement, folk song, photography, painting, cooking competition etc. were organized.
A press release informed that Nini Lungalang recited some of her poems and interacted with the students and shared her early experience in writing and how her love for reading inspired her to become a poet. Students also recited their original poems. The aim of organizing such an event was to let the students reflect on their cultural roots and promote the importance of literature in life, the release added. The results of the competition were
