FRIENDS of former White House intern Monica Lewinsky say she has never married or had children because she is still in love with Bill Clinton. Ms Lewinsky, 37, who has run a successful business and hosted a reality television show, is said to still carry a torch for the ex-President with whom she had an affair 15 years ago. One of Ms Lewinsiky's friends told the National Inquirer: “Monica still hasn’t got over Bill and would take him back in a second.
“She told me, 'There will never be another man in my life that could make me as happy as he did.' "Monica still carries a torch for him. She’s dated some guys, off and on, since the whole White House mess. But she’s never been able to get Bill out of her heart."
Mr Clinton famously said "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" when details of the affair leaked out. The investigation into the affair eventually led to his impeachment in 1998 and cast a shadow over the end of his presidency. He later admitted that he lied to protect himself and his family from embarrassment. Ms Lewinsky told British newspaper the Daily Mail that she was hurt over Mr Clinton’s denial of their relationship and wished he had been more open.
