KOHIMA, JULY 25 (MExN): A Multi-Sector Job Fair held at Kohima College on Friday witnessed a significant turnout of job seekers, students and recent graduates.
The event was organised in collaboration with The Art of Living Human Resources, Bengaluru, and supported by Resilient Generation. It featured walk-in interviews, enabling participants to directly interact with recruiters and submit resumes on-site, a press release issued by Mass Media Cell, Kohima College stated.
Employers from diverse sectors—including Education, Hospitality, Information Technology, Marketing, Media and Communications, NGOs, and Industrial enterprises—participated in the fair.
Kohima College, the venue partner, extended logistical support and coordination to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. Student volunteers from Kohima College, Sazolie College, and Tetso College (Dimapur) assisted in managing the recruitment process throughout the day.
“We understand the frustration of feeling excluded from decisions that shape our futures,” a Resilient Generation spokesperson said. “This initiative is aimed at creating an environment where young individuals can lead, grow and take responsibility for change. It’s not about handouts but about providing genuine opportunities.”
More than 50 per cent of attendees reportedly received on-the-spot job offers, while many others progressed to subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
