Dimapur, January 13 (MExN): On the occasion of Army Day 2021, the 3rd Battalion of the Naga Regiment has been selected for the Chief of the Army Staff Unit Citation award for exemplary performance in the service of the Nation during the year 2020. “3 NAGA- the youngest battalion in the regiment was raised in the year 2009. This year, 23 different units of the Indian Army have been chosen for the coveted honour on the occasion of the Army Day-2021,” informed a press release issued by Colonel Prakash Bhatt (Retd), Former Additional DIG Assam Rifles. The Naga Regiment was raised on November 1, 1970.
