The 7th edition of the Nagaland Art Fusion Contest is alls set to begin and audition round will start on April 23, at Dimapur Club. The selection of the contestants will be based according to the points of the judges. Newly registered bands have to come for the screening test which is a must.
Contestant will also have to bring their own needs instruments like guitars, drums sticks, and other necessary additional equipments that the band requires. The organizers will be providing a common drum kit, proper stage gears, sound system etc. A minimum of three and a maximum of seven members will be allowed per band to perform, and members are allowed to perform in one band only
The screening test will start at 2:00 pm sharp and contestants will not be allowed to bring any intoxicating items in the premises, and no out pass will be entertained. For entry, contestants have to produce their ID cards, which will be distributed at the office of the mind blowers club on April 22, during office hours.
For the screening test, seven minutes time allotment will be given to each bands including set up and dismantle time .The Grand Finale of the 7th Edition will held on June 20 and the winner will represent Nagaland in the North East Art Fusion contest on June 21 .The contest will be organized by the Mind Blowers Club in celebration of ‘World Music Day’ under the banner ‘Summer Festival’ at Dimapur Club Ground Premises.
