Nagaland Elections: JDU Nagaland says no to seat-sharing alliance

Dimapur, January 22 (MExN): The Janata Dal United (JDU) Nagaland has decided not to have any seat-sharing alliance with any political parties, “but to have an open mind for post poll-alliance with any likeminded party in the formation of next government in the State to usher in better administration and good governance so as to secure welfare of the State and its people.” A press release from the JDU Nagaland said that with the announcement of election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, the party is prepared to contest in the ongoing electioneering process “with an open mind so as to ensure free and fair election.” “The electorates must be given a congenial atmosphere to choose their own representatives without coercion or use of money,” it further urged.
