DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 7 (MExN): William Koso from Nagaland has become the state’s first Asian Football Confederation (AFC) 'A' Licensed Coach.
Koso is currently the assistant coach of Aizwal FC, who this year became the only team from the North East to win the I League. This achievement had also made Koso the “only Naga to win I-Leauge and have coaching experience at the top Indian league level,” a press note from the Nagaland Football Coaches Confederation informed.
Koso’s coaching credentials involve having worked at top teams like Royal Wahingdoh FC. In Nagaland state, he was the head coach for Kohima Komets FC, who are a 2nd division I-league team. He also coached Life Sports Football club during the Naga Premier Leauge (NPL) years.
