KOHIMA, JANUARY 20 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland has issued official notice on the creation of Shamator district with headquarters at Shamator. A notice issued by the Home Department informed on the areas that would be under the new district. It said that Shamator district shall comprise of the existing administrative area of Shamator sub-division under Tuensang district; existing administrative area of Chessore sub-division, including Mangko EAC Circle, under Tuensang district; administrative area of Sotokur EAC circle under Tuensang District, excluding Chingmelen, Helipong and Sipongsang villages; Tsurungto EAC circle under Shamator sub-division. It shall also include Hutanger, Anatongre, Pungrungru, Nutsu, Maihpok and Tsuthu villages under Kiphire district, which stand transferred to Tsurungto EAC Circle.
