Nagaland: NHM brings health camp to Church in Kohima

Kohima, October 17 (MExN): A health camp was organized at Phom Baptist Church, Kohima premises on October 16.

The health camp was organized by the Phom Union Kohima and also as part of commemoration of World Sight Day 2022 under National Health Mission (NHM), Nagaland. 

The camp was held with an aim to bring health care services closer to the people as well as promote healthy living among the people. The camp held after the devotional service commenced with a prayer by Associate Pastor, H Paman, stated a press release received here. More than 400 people were treated in the health camp and 71 free spectacles were also given to the beneficiaries.

Free specialist Services of Gynaecologist, Dental, Eye, Medicine, Pediatric and NCD Screening were provided during the Camp and Free medicines were provided to the beneficiaries. 

The medical personnel were Dr Mereninla Senlem, Eye Surgeon & SPO NHM; Dr Imotemsu, Gynaecologist; NHAK, Dr Vikie-o Khrumo, Medicine Specialist NHAK & Dr Hoboto Chishi, GDMO, NHAK; Dr Angto Phom, Anaesthetist & Sr Specialist, NHAK; Dr Akatoli, Pediatrician, CHC Cheipobozou, Dr Manen Phom GDMO and  Dr Ngailong Phom, Dental Surgeon.
